Carmona, Flake In Tight Race For Senate Seat, Poll Says                     azcentral.com

The race for Arizona's first open U.S. Senate seat in nearly 20 years could become the tightest general-election contest for the office in decades.

Two months from Election Day, Democrat Richard Carmona and Republican Jeff Flake are tied, according to a poll by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic national polling firm.

Only 10 U.S. senators have represented Arizona in its 100-year history, with most of them serving multiple terms and winning re-election by comfortable margins.  Read More
